SC Appleseed advocates at the local, state and national levels for improved access to nutritional food for low-income South Carolinians. This includes ensuring that the federal government provides necessary food commodities and helping all eligible households enroll for food stamps, now known as the Supplementary Nutritional Assistance Program.
